Where do you ship your cigars from?

Our Cattle Baron Cigars are shipped directly from our humidor in Dillon, Montana. We ship to all states that allow shipping of cigars, Check your state laws.

Is it possible to change my order ?

Once your order is placed, a Cattle Baron Cigar team member will contact you directly. At that time you can make any changes to your order.

How does the payment process work?

After the Order form is sent a Cattle Baron Cigar team member will call the number you provided to verify age, address and get payment information. A receipt will be emailed to the email address provided.

What does “strength” mean in cigars?

Strength refers to the nicotine level—not the flavor. A cigar can be rich and flavorful without being strong. Beginners should generally start with mild cigars and work up over time.

Habano: Known for a spicy, bold, and complex character — often with notes of black pepper, red pepper, cedar, leather, and earth. The wrapper is sun-grown, oily, and dense, which contributes to a hotter burn, sharper transitions, and higher nicotine delivery. Do I inhale cigar smoke?

No. Cigar smoke is meant to be tasted, not inhaled. Draw the smoke into your mouth, enjoy the flavor, and then exhale. Inhaling can cause dizziness or discomfort—especially for new smokers.

How should I cut a cigar?

Use a proper cigar cutter (straight cut, V‑cut, or punch). Cut just the cap—about 1/8 inch from the closed end, this is called “the foot”. Cutting too much can cause the cigar to unravel.

How do I light a cigar correctly?

  1. Use a Quality butane torch lighter or wooden matches
  2. Toast the foot (open end) without touching the flame to the end
  3. Rotate the cigar for an even burn
  4. Gently puff once lit

Avoid petroleum based lighters, Cheap butane lighters, Sulfer head Matches, and weak disposable lighters. These can affect the taste and make your first cigar smoking experience unpleasant.

How long should I let a cigar rest between puffs?

After lighting and taking your first puff, 30 to 60 seconds. This will allow the cigar to cool and let the flavor remain consistent. Taking to many puffs and heating the cigar can cause ashy, bitter flavor. Letting the cigar rest between puffs also will keep the smoker from getting dizzy or nauseous. This will also keep the burn even.

Why did my cigar go out?

That’s completely normal—especially for beginners. Just relight it the same way you lit it originally. There’s no penalty for relighting a cigar.

Do I need a humidor right away?
